Really a good place for the people who want stay in the main part of Seoul with budget price,I mean with a cheap price like this and only cost you 3 minutes on feet to the line 2 subway ,I really can’t see any reason to say no. This was a great place to stay! It’s literally just a 3 minute walk to the subway station. It has its own washer, stove, sink and fridge so if you want you can save some money and cook your own food from time to time. Great AC and awesome WiFi. There’s multiple coffee shops on the same block too! Sarah was great with communication and was super helpful when it came to getting to the apartment. I had no issues finding it. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Sarah was a very nice host and will try to accommodate your needs. The location is very convenient as it is about a 2min walk from hanyang uni. Station on the green line that can take you almost anywhere in Seoul. The studio room is spacious enough for up to 2 people and is exactly like the photos shown. The room is affordable and is very clean. Sarah doesn’t respond as soon as one may like if they expect constant replies however she does respond within the same day which didn’t bother me at all but for those that get agitated or is obsessed with immediate responses this may bother you. This place has everything you need, kitchen , kitchen ware,bathrooms etc ! The room was spacious and practical! Extremely close to Hangyang university! 1 min away ! 1 min away from subway station and Starbucks and McDonald’s. Very nice neighborhood close to wangsimi! Lots of restaurant and cafe and quite ! A very nice mall right opposite the apartment. There were no sunlight in the room and no sound proof were the downside. Some bugs because it’s at the ground floor . Value for money.

Hanyang Residence near Hanyang University is one of the most convenient locations for travelers. The bus stop is only about a minute away and the subway is about three minutes. This makes it easy to get to all parts of the city. The apartment is spacious and clean with everything you need and fantastic value for what you pay. Don't expect a fancy building, the stairways and entrance can be messy - but the apartment itself was clean (apart from the fold out table - which must have been missed when cleaning and was full of food stains), a decent size and good value. Sarah is a good host - replies quickly, speaks English well and is kind and professional. I messed up with my booking dates and has to check out a day late - she was accommodating and helped me to change the schedule last minute without any fuss. Grateful that I had accommodation for that final night!

The space perfect for what a Traveller or couple would need. Private bathroom with the Korean style shower (sometimes also found in European hostiles-there a shower head on the wall and a drain in the middle of the floor.) Has a small stove, washer, kettle, toaster, etc. nice heated bed pad and heated floors, two desks and our unit had a tv with Korean cable. Location is very convenient-one block from the subway entrance, and across the street starts a couple blocks of restaurants since it’s a university area. Mall with lots of food across the street as well and a coffee shop on the corner. If you get burnt out on cuisine and need something western, there’s a McDonald’s right behind that’s open till 3am. The host Sarah is very nice and speaks English. We met her only twice while she was working on some cleaning in the halls. Check in and out is just on your own. There’s a keypad on the door so you don’t need to worry about keys. Stayed there for two weeks!apartment again!

I stayed at Hanyang Residence for two weeks and I can only say good things! In reality the studio looks much better than on photos: it is very cozy and clean, and would perfectly suite a solo traveller like me 🙂 The place had everything I needed, such as washing, cooking and cleaning utilities, and even shampoo and toothpaste! It is located less than 5 minutes away from the metro station and is very easy to find. The neighbourhood around Hanyang university is lively during the day, full of students and small restaurants with delicious Korean food, but quiet in the evenings and felt very safe. The studio's location was very good considering that you can reach all major places of interest in Seoul very easily just by taking the green metro line. Finally, Sarah is an amazing and very friendly host: she checked upon me a couple of times during my stay when I had problems contacting her. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hanyang Residence and would select it again if I come back to Korea!

My and my friend stayed in Hanyang Residence for 6 months as an exchange students and it was perfect (like seriously not even kidding). The location could have not been better, everything was in reach by walking, by the subway line 2 (its just amazing) or many bus lines. Sarah as a manager was amazing. She was so sweet, kind, easy to contact, and big help with our documentation as an exchange students. Big love for her! This place was lovely. It was exactly like in pictures provided (clean, great amenities etc…). We both definitely wish to come back to Korea and to stay in Sarah’s apartment again!

The manager has great communication and will always ask you if you need to extend which is very kind. The apartment is very much dorm like and is just as pictured. The bathroom is really nice and spacious the only con is that there is no sink in the bathroom so you have to wash your hands in the sink from the kitchen. You can’t really hear your neighbors even though you are super close to them. The place is conveniently next to the university and a lot of restaurants.

Hanyang Residence is very great choice for your long-term stay in Seoul. Especially if you are planning to study at Hanyang Univ. Hanyang Residence is exactly as you see in the pictures. It’s small and perfect for a student looking for accommodation. It’s super close to the Hanyang University Seoul campus (you can see the campus directly from the balcony). The room was pretty small and it was a little difficult to cook and clean in such a small space but if you just need a place to stay and you want to explore Seoul during the day, it’s perfect.

The subway is an easy walk away and there’s multiple lines connecting so it’s super easy to get to most places in Seoul in under 30 minutes. The room sometimes had a bad smell from the drain situation (but this happens at almost every apartment in Korea, and not necessarily a problem at this particular apartment). Sarah was a wonderful host! I needed to check-in 2 weeks early due to unforeseen circumstances and Sarah was able to accommodate me, even on such short notice. She also set me up in a room bigger than the one I was supposed to be in, which was very nice! The apartment was clean and there is a purified water dispenser on the third floor. It's about a 5 min walk to Hanyang station and about a 7-10 min walk to Wangsimni station. These stations give you access to line 2 and it's very easy to get to other popular areas. It takes about 25-30 min to get to Samseong station (Gangnam), 15-20 min to get to Dongdaemun, and about 40 min to get to Hongik University Station (Hongdae). I would highly recommend staying at Sarah's place for location alone! The apartment is also a 3 min walk to a good grocery store (No Brand) and convenience stores are very easy to find as well. Wangsimni station is home to a large E Mart and there are numerous cafes around to get your coffee fix at.

The only thing to be aware of is that her apartment has no elevator. I was on the third floor and had a rather large luggage with me, so bringing it down the stairs was a bit of a struggle. Also, there is a slight incline to walk up when going to Hanyang station from the apartment; Korea has a lot of hills though, so this is nothing to be worried about! Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Sarah's place! She was a great host that answered any questions I had in a timely manner and she was super helpful and kind! Highly recommend!

Hanyang Residence near Hanyang College is just the right size. It has pretty much everything you could need and everything worked well. Coming and going was easy. It's about a 10min walk to the Hanyang side of Wangshimni station through a college-town area. (If you're familiar with Sinchon it's quite similar). She asks for an extra "deposit" for utilities. For me that was 40000W and she sent back about half that after a week's stay. It was a bit confusing - although airbnb's UI is partly to blame there. Everything went well once that was sorted out. Especially for the VALUE here, I'd recommend it!

Amazing place to stay at! Very convenient to Hanyang University as it is less than 10 minutes walk to there. Also, the place was cosy and easy to locate. Plenty of food in the neighbourhood so do not worry about having to go hungry during your stay here. It was a really good journey. Sarah was really kind and very reactive. We were near everything. The location is really good. You can be in the center in about 20 min. We were close to the Han River. I highly recommend. However, we needed to pay for the electricity bill which is weird and it was expensive, about 100 euros more for 20 days. Since the price to stay at Sarah's is not that cheapit should contain the bills and everything. Secondly when you go to a hotel they don't ask you to pay the bills . We loose the concept of hosting !

Hanyang Residence is perfect for students. The space is not too big yet not too small, best for 1-2 people. Sarah also provided all the necessities you need for cooking, laundry, etc. I felt very safe and cozy at Sarah’s place throughout the 2 months I’ve stayed and really appreciated the upgrade! Loved the sunlight coming through my window every morning. Sarah is also greatly hospitable. She helped with sending me to the post office when I had a box to send back home. The only downside to the place is that there is no elevator, which can be troublesome if you’re carrying luggages/boxes. Other than that, I have really grown fond of the place and I hope to stay here longer when I come back ^^.

Hanyang Residence is near Exit 4 and 1 of Hanyang Uni Station and about 10mins walk to Wangsimri Station. The house is located at a quiet alley with several convenieces store just 2-3mins away. (There is macdonald, toms n toms coffee, starbucks, GS 25 and 7-11). And about 5-10mins walk to restaurants. Sarah’s place has the basic amenities mentioned in her listing. I had no problems with it just that the TV sometimes have a bad signal and could not load and the floor is abit dirty - my both feets got black after a few steps. I loved staying at Hanyang Residence! It's located near a bustling neighbourhood that has many restaurants and cafes to offer. There are also two subway stations in walking distance which will eventually take you anywhere in Seoul you want. The room is super clean and has everything you need- both for longer and shorter stays. Upon arrival Sarah also gave very clear instructions on how to get to her place, so you'll have no problem finding it at all. Whenever I had a question, she gave quick and helpful responses. The place was clean and has amenities that you need (e.g. towels, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.). Room is small, but just right for a solo traveller. It’s near the station (about 5mins walk to the nearest station) and there’s also the huge mall at Wangsimni Station that’s within 15mins’ walk. There’s a cafe (1min walk) and convenience store (2min walk) near the house as well, so the location is very convenient. Overall would recommend this if you’re travelling alone and want some affordable option!

The location is great and it is easy to walk to Wangsimni, which has many great bars and restaurants. I would like to mention that the shower is rather low..around the 150cm mark, so not comfortable for taller people. Other than that, it was great.

This place is amazing. It has absolutely everything you need for any situation. Blankets, towels, toilet paper, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, etc etc. Sarah responds very quickly and is always happy to help with any problems. She also really respects the extra deposit fee balance and returns what's left, which is something I deeply appreciated. I felt like home right away. 100% worth the cost! If you're thinking the location may be a setback (as I initially did), it's really not an issue considering you have the green line loop right next to you and Wangsimni Station also at a walking distance. Plenty of restaurants around, grocery stores, and a mall even. Would totally come back here any time I visit Seoul again. Perfect for solo travelers!

I was actually assigned to a different room, which I have been notified in advance by Sarah, but I'm pretty sure it is very similar to this one. The location is great, three minute walk to Hanyang University subway station and plenty of places to eat across the street. The room is adequate for one person. The washer works well and there is detergent for you to use as well as shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. There's also a small stove with utensils so that you could fix yourself a meal. Now to mention a few cons. There was some few occasions where I could smell someone smoking outside and somehow the smoke managed to come inside my room even with the windows were closed, which isn't the host's fault. (Compared to the US, there are so many smokers in the streets, so your chance of being exposed to the smoke is much higher in Korea.) Also, the isolation between the walls are not that great, so you do have to be careful not to make too much noise, as I could definitely hear other guests.

This room is the perfect match for 1 person to live in. It was a great place from the beginning to the end. Room: a decent size room that's perfect for 1 person who's traveling alone. Bed is comfy. Every utility works perfectly and they're all in good condition. It was sparkling clean when I rented this place and the boiler is easy to use. Usually, it's complicated to use the boiler in most renting places but this apartment is very easy. Area: area is quiet and it's a good area to have some good sleep. There are a lot of restaurantsaround you with multiple options and a 5 minute walk busy area that's full of restaurants and entertainment. The bus and metro are very close and that made it easy on me to go through Seoul. Ms. Sarah is an awesome host with quick replies and responses. I never had any problems with anything and that made the whole experience better. I'm very thankful. Great room in a great area to discover Seoul in your own way 🙂

Apartment was exactly like in description. We stayed 11 nights and were pleased with this apartment. Three rooms and two WC with one shower. Quite comfy mattress and pillows. For us location was perfect, because we need to visit Hanyang University Hospital almost each day and it was like 8 minutes by feet. Also everything in the neighborhood was within walking distance! Big supermarket, Wanshimni subway station, different small shops and market where you can grab something on the way home... Will recommend this apartment if you need a three bedroom apartment for budget price.
